Frank Lowy started his career by opening a small deli in the outer suburbs of Sydney, Australia in the mid 1950's. His vision led to the creation of Westfield Corporation, one of the world's leading shopping center companies. Frank's story, and the success of Westfield Malls, inspired the creation of ILONA Capital, which is anchored by the Lowy family.

Michael Abdy is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He most recently co-founded ILONA Capital where he currently serves as a Managing Partner. After starting his first fund, TeQuity Capital, he later exited from a sale of his firm's position in Prescribe Wellness as well as his position in Housefax.com to CoreLogic (NYSE: CLGX).
Abdy was then recruited as an Internet and Technology investor by General Atlantic, a leading Growth Equity Firm with $20bn in assets. In addition to investing in many early stage companies (Prescribe Wellness, Housefax, Popsockets, and Rental Kharma, to name a few), Abdy remains an active Real Estate investor.
Abdy graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is an active supporter of Cleveland Clinic, a leading non-profit medical institution. He is originally from New Jersey and currently resides in New York City.- read less

Noah Lowy most recently co-founded ILONA Capital where he currently serves as a Managing Partner. Lowy is originally from Sydney, Australia and currently resides in New York City.
After earning a bachelor of Commerce, graduating with distinction, from the University of New South Wales, he moved to New York to work in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley.
While at Morgan Stanley, Lowy worked in the mergers and acquisitions group where he executed mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and divestiture transactions for corporate clients. During his tenure, he worked on Valeant Pharmaceuticals' proposed takeover of Allergan ($60bn), Abbvie's purchase of Pharmacyclics ($21bn), the sale of Sigma-Aldridge to Merck KGaA ($17bn), United Healthcare's purchase of Catamaran ($14bn), Indiana Toll Road's restructuring ($6bn), and the merger of Weyerhaeser Real Estate with TRI Pointe Homes ($3bn).
After Morgan Stanley, Lowy joined General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm with $20bn under management, as an Internet and Technology investor. Jonathan Klein is part of the investment team at ILONA Capital. He was formerly the CEO of the global digital media company Getty Images, Inc., the premier creator and distributor of visual communications worldwide, which he co-founded in March 1995. In October 2015, Klein transitioned to the role of Chairman.
Klein is a leader in global health, education and international press freedom. In the philanthropic space, he serves on the board of directors of the Committee to Protect Journalists, Grassroot Soccer and is the Chairman of the board of Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. He is President of the board of trustees of Groton School. In the corporate world, he currently serves on the boards of Getty Images (Chairman), Etsy, Squarespace, Helix Sleep and Getty Investments.
After 12 years of trading publicly on the NASDAQ and the NYSE, Klein successfully took Getty Images private in July 2008, in partnership with Hellman & Friedman, in a $2.4bn transaction. In October 2012, the management team, led by Klein, together with the Getty family and The Carlyle Group, acquired Getty Images for $3.3bn.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Klein has spent much of his life in England and received a master’s degree in law from the University of Cambridge. He moved to the United States in 1999 and now lives in New York City with his wife and two of his three sons. He is a citizen of both the United Kingdom and the United States, and a member of The Council on Foreign Relations.- read less

Prior to joining ILONA Capital, Shams-Ansari worked as a Financial Restructuring Analyst at Millstein & Co. where he advised a variety of corporate and government clients. His restructuring experience included debtor-side engagements in media and healthcare, as well as working as debtor-side adviser for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Before joining Millstein, Shams-Ansari was a Summer Analyst at Bravia Capital, a transportation and logistics focused private equity firm in Hong Kong. He graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. in Finance.- read less

Prior to Stripes Group, Johnson was an Event Operations Coordinator at the Clinton Foundation where she assisted with event coordination for CGI’s conferences and special events for President Clinton’s strategic senior partners and members. Rabke received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law.
